What to expect?
The tour begins with the Legend of Saint Denis, martyred in Montmartre in the 3rd century. Then we will explain the Gothic architecture and the role of the powerful abbots of Saint-Denis. Inside the Basilica, you will see the magnificent tombs of the kings of France. We will also admire some of the most ancient stained glass windows of the world. We will also visit the crypt where we will learn about the tragic destiny of the royal family during the French Revolution.
